i'm getting kind of sick of photographers complaining about having to take the occasional self portrait during technical difficulties. and not the sort of difficulties, like, help, there's a 20lb cat laying on my camera (:wave:) my fatcat moo thinks that that's funny. i digress. but, "difficulties", like, :ohnoes: ohnoes my remote control wasn't working or i didn't have my tripod or i couldn't get my light source(s) lined up as i wanted, etc. so i'm going to write a paragraph in the description making all these excuses for a (perfectly fine) photo that is AWFUL OMG BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THESE THINGS i mean, yes, having a perfectly IN focus p

you know those types of decisions... that make you feel both terrible and amazing at the same time? maybe they were made at the wrong time? or in the wrong context, or for motives you are unsure of?  i just made one of those. i'm literally sick to my stomach, but i have this crazy hope that i'm clinging to. that hope used to make me feel light as air. now i fear that what i'm clinging to is a black balloon. that's a great song, but... i really must be crazy. damnit.
